Malešov Glamour Camp

Malešov Glamour Camp is situated in the garden under a medieval castle. There is a building with a culinary restaurant, and a romantic bath right in the compound. The accomodation is situated in 8 replicas of medieval military tents, each equipped with its own toilet and a shower. Every tent has one double bed, and up to two additional single beds. Total cpacity of the camp is 32 people. There is a room for company events and presentations, which can also be used as a play room for kids if weather is not nice. There are several places worth the visit directly in teh village: the recently restored medieval castle, the brewery (that supplies also the camp restaurant with specialty beer), and also a very interesting local museum. The countryside offers beautiful destinations for day trips by car, bike, or on foot - the UNESCO protected medieval mining town of Kutná Hora is only 7 km away, natural swimming lake only 3 km away, and the camp itself is located next to a lake. Having a dinner on the restaurant porch with the castle looming over, and the lake glittering only a few steps away is a truly unforgettable experience.

The main tourist attraction is the UNESCO protected medieval mining town of Kutna Hora with its cathedrals, medieval silver mines, and other points of interest. You can reach Kutna Hora by car, however, it is much more interesting to take the 7 km long stroll or bike ride through the romantic valley of river Vrchlice, with its abandoned mills. Malešov itself offers several attractions as well: fully restored 14th century fortress, which looks over the camp from a steep rocky cliff, a brewery that produces artisan beer, and supplies also our restaurant, and a local museum, introducing the visitor to the interesting history and important people who were born and raised in Malešov. Another beautiful walk/bike ride takes you to the nearby ruin of the Sion castle, where one of the last Hussite commanders took his last stand in 1437. A bit further, but still within an easy reach by car for a day trip are, for example, romantic chateau of Žleby, chateau Kačina, or the ancient castle in teh Sázava river valley - Český Šternberk. If you stay with us in the camp, you will be able to spend several days here without being bored for a second...

Each tent is equipped with a designer bathroom in a separate space, custom built for our hotel. The vistors sleep in comfortable beds, made also to order according to medieval originals. Personal belongings can be stowed away in heavy chests which can be locked. Lighting is provided by lanterns that offer a romantic ambience in the tents. For those who cannot do without the luxuries of the modern age, the bathroom has electricity socket available. We offer a total of 8 tents with 32 beds.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as coffee and snacks are served in the compound by the restaurant called At the end of the world. Our meals are made from fresh, locally sourced ingredients. We are inspired by medieval cuisne, however, adjust the recipes to the tastes of the modern consumer. You can, however, expect a very special experience that will not be easy to find anywhere else.
