Chalupa Strážný

The holiday house is located in the heart Šumava, in the town of Strážný, 3 kilometres awa from the border crossing Strážný/Phillipsreit. It is ideal for skiing, cycling and hiking holidays.

It consist of 3 en-suite apartments that can accommodate up to 18 guests in total. The entire house has recently been renovated and refurbished (2016).

A large mountain-style common room with a full equipped kitchen is available for all guests. The kitchen is equipped with a large countertop, all necessary dishes, fridge and freezer, kettle, stove, microwave and oven. The large dining table can comfortably seat all guests.

Free Wi-Fi throughout the building. Parking in front of the house for up to 6 cars. The house has a large garden. 

Weekly stays only. Check-in: Saturday from 4 pm, Check-out: Sunday before 10 am.

Šumava, and the town of Strážný, is an ideal place for your holiday with children, spending time with your friends and being outdoors and active. You can do many different sports in the area: skiing, snowboarding, jogging, cykling, hiking or mushrooming.

Skiing - behind the house there is a ski slope that can be accessed through the graden. Other ski resort are within easy reach - Kubova Huť, Horní Vltavice, Mitterdorf, Hochficht.

Cycling - you can rent bikes and e-bikes at the nearby border crossings Strážný and Nové údolí (more at www.e-sumava.cz), or you can bring your own bikes and store them in the holiday house. m

Hiking - there are several hiking trails in and in close proximity of the town. Also, most of Šumava's popular tourist attractions such as Lipno, Kvilda or Boubín can be reached within a short amount of time. přehradě.

V chalupě je k dispozici plně vybavená kuchyně. V obci Strážný, cca 200 m od chalupy najdeme 3 restaurace, na hraničním přechodu Strážný (5 minut automobilem) restauraci s tradiční českou kuchyní.
